이 글은 제가 살아오면서 찬양을 통해 경험한 것으로 여러분들과 나누고자
올립니다.

할렐루야!
여러분들과 찬양의 힘에 대해서 나눌 수 있게 되어 영광입니다.
저는 아주 어렸을 때부터 노래 부르기를 좋아했고 그래서 저는 초등학교 때부터 교회 성가대원으로 참여했습니다.
저는 YMCA 합창단과 교회에서 복음성가를 불렀습니다.
저는 행복했고 또한 찬양을 부를 때 예수님의 사랑을 느낄 수 있었습니다.
사람들은 제가 복음성가에 특히 소질이 있다고 말했습니다.
저는 찬양들을 하나씩 암송하고 찬양을 통해 하나님께 기도했습니다.
제가 아플 때마다 저는 쉬기보다는 기도했습니다. 하나님은 제 기도에 응답하셨죠.
제가 하나님께 기도하고 찬양할 때마다 아버지 하나님은 치료해 주셨습니다.
하나님은 치료의 하나님이시죠.
제가 제 손을 제 아픈 몸에 대고 단지 하나님을 찬양하면 하나님은 치료해주셨습니다. 저는 결코 이러한 찬양의 힘에 대한 경험을 잊을 수가 없습니다.

1994년이었습니다. 저는 뉴에지 음악에 관심이 있었고 복음성가와 뉴에이지 음악과의 사이의 차이점을 알기 원했습니다.
그러나 저는 그 차이점을 이해할 수 없었습니다. 그래서 뉴에이지 음악에 대한 책을 한 권 사서 읽었으나 이해할 수 없었습니다. 그래서 하나님께 제가 그것을 이해할 수 있도록 지혜를 주시라고 기도했습니다.

어느날 저는 교회에서 홀로 기도하고 있었는데 갑자기 두려웠습니다.
저는 제 머리와 어깨에 엄청난 압박을 느낄 수 있었습니다.
저는 움직일 수 없었고 매우 놀랐고 저를 누르는 힘이 두려웠습니다.
그래서 저는 부르짖기를 “귀신아 물러가라” 고 했지만 귀신은 계속해서 제 몸을 눌렀습니다. 선택의 여지가 없었습니다. 저는 기도하는 마음으로 복음성가를 불렀습니다. 그러자 귀신은 사라졌습니다. 이런 경험을 통해서 저는 찬양의 능력을 알게되었습니다.

찬양은 그 자체로 힘이 있다는 살아있는 확신을 가진 이후로 저는 종종 우리 교회에서 홀로 기도했습니다. 때때로 저는 캐비닛을 열고 닫는 소리를 듣기도 하고 제 자리 바로 앞에 서 있는 귀신을 보았지만 제가 복음성가를 부르면 귀신이 사라졌습니다.
마지막으로 저는 여러분들이 아버지의 영광을 위해서 찬양하기를 소망합니다.
만일 여러분이 자신의 기쁨이나 편안함을 위해 노래한다면 그 노래는 찬양이 아니라는 것을 잊지 말길 바랍니다.
바라기는 여러분들이 기도를 통해 그 힘을 경험하기 소망합니다.

Praise the Lord.
It's my pleasure to share of the power of praise with you.
Since I was very young enjoyed singing.
Then I joined as a member of choir in our church from my elementary school.
I sang gospel songs with YMCA Missionary Choir and in our church.
I was happy and I could feel the love of Jesus when I sang.
People said that I am talented in music especially in Gospel songs.
I memorized the songs one by one and I prayed God that I could praise God through singing.
Whenever I got sick, I prayed instead of taking a rest. God answered my prayer. Whenever I prayed and praised God, He healed. God was a healing God. When I just praised the Lord putting my hands on my hurt body God healed also.
I've never forgot the experience of the power the praise.

It was in 1994. I was interested in New Age Music. I wanted to know the difference between the New Age Music and gospel song. But I couldn't understand the difference. So I bought a book about the New Age Music and read it, but I couldn't understand it. So I prayed God that He would allow me wisdom to understand it.

One day, I was praying alone in our church and then I was scared all of a sudden. I could feel heavy pressure on my head and my shoulder.
I couldn't move and then I was greatly surprised and I was afraid of the power which pressed me.
So I cried, "You demon go out!" but the demon continued to press my body.
There is no choice. I sang the spiritual song prayerfully.
And the demon disappeared. Through this experience I knew the power of praise.

Since then I have a living assurance that the praise is itself power. I often prayed in our church alone. Sometimes, I heard sound of opening and locking the cabinet or saw a standing demon in the front of my seat. But I sang gospel songs and the demon disappeared.
Finally, I hope that you sing only for Father's glory.
Please don't forget that the song will not be a praise if you sing for your delight or comfort.
I hope you have the power through prayers.
